Wherever you go, go with your whole heart. That is what my friend told me before I moved to Laos, ready to spend a year discovering a new way of life in the wonderful city of Luang Prabang. Before I arrived, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, after a while, I found out what this city had to offer me.

Luang Prabang, surrounded by majestic mountains, is the only region in Laos where traditions and history remain significant to this day. What intrigues me the most about this former royal capital are the legends and tales that carry the past with them, and teach us what the culture stands for. I gather these stories from friends and people I meet during my stay.

The purpose of Soul of Books is to share those stories while educating others about the rich culture. As I explore its history, I invite you to accompany me on this journey!
